Analysis & AI Review
Raw trade logs only tell you what happened. The **Analysis & AI Review** section uses mathematical models and artificial intelligence to figure out *why* it happened, helping you optimize your stop losses, target settings, and behavioral habits.
Maximum Favorable Excursion (MFE) & Maximum Adverse Excursion (MAE)
MFE and MAE are advanced metrics used by professional traders to optimize trade management rules. They measure the price path *while a trade is active*:
MFE (Maximum Favorable Excursion)
The highest price level a stock reached in your favor while you held the position.
How to use: If your MFE is frequently high (e.g., +4R or +5R) but you end up getting stopped out for a loss, it indicates your profit targets are too wide or your trailing stop rules are too loose. It suggests you should take partial profits or lock in gains earlier.
MAE (Maximum Adverse Excursion)
The lowest price level a stock reached against you before you exited the position.
How to use: If your MAE is very small (e.g., the stock never went more than 2% against you before moving in your favor), you can safely tighten your initial stop loss levels, which increases your R-multiple potential. If a stock consistently drops right to your stop loss and then rebounds, your stop is placed too close to normal market noise.
Trade Review Software
Reviewing your closed trades is the fast track to improvement. The **Trade Review** interface provides a structured workspace:
- Execution Overlay: See your exact entry and exit fills plotted on the price chart.
- Notes & Attachments: Write post-trade commentary explaining what you saw and felt during the trade. Attach chart screenshots to capture the technical setup at entry.
- Checklist Review: Verify if the trade complied with your predefined strategy guidelines.
Review With AI (Your AI Trading Coach)
Meet your built-in AI trading coach. This feature utilizes machine learning to scan your trade history, trade notes, strategy checklist compliance, and logged mistakes to uncover patterns that are invisible in standard reports:
AI Coaching Analytics
- Rule Adherence Feedback: The AI cross-references your execution times and chart indicators against your strategy rules. It flags trades where you deviated from your setup rules (e.g., buying when the stock was extended or chasing a breakout).
- Expectancy Pattern Recognition: It isolates your highest expectancy trades and highlights common threads (e.g., "Your breakout trades on high relative volume in the Technology sector have a win rate of 74% and average +2.4R").
- Behavioral Mistakes Analysis: By analyzing your trade notes, the AI can detect psychological patterns like "revenge trading" (taking multiple trades in quick succession after a loss) or "FOMO" (buying after a stock has already run).
